To be born in a healthy body.
To live your identity without ever questioning it.

To sleep without nightmares.
To rest in bed without pain.
To breathe without feeling every muscle contract.

To live, to be, to love freely.
To simply be yourself by default, without doubt.

To grow old in health and beauty.
To evade illness.
To have a body that simply works, without pain.

These privileges are not innate — we don’t all receive them in equal measure.

Living in a body that doesn’t represent your identity, for too long, comes with a price.
Living in a body damaged by chronic illness and relentless pain, comes with a price.

Feeling your soul fracture under the weight of pain, even as your transition finally allows you to live as yourself — it’s a unique and heavy burden few will ever understand.

Before judging a transition, a disability, or an entire life,
try living two minutes in this parallel reality.
You might finally see how lucky you really are.

Because yes, you ARE lucky.
